Melting in Beirut

I was driving and melting yesterday in Beirut’s hot and humid weather when I noticed that the indicator in my car is showing a weather temperature of 43 degree Celsius!

We’re used to high temperatures in the 30′s, but 43?! That’s so Dubai! We’ve got no more snow in the winter, and summer is starting to feel like a living hell, I wonder how will it be like in the next few years…

It was so hot yesterday that I was tanned before I even got to the beach (10x to the aweful traffic in from Dora all the way to Antelias)

The pool was also freakishly warm! You could feel the sun blazing even when ur swimming!

No I don’t think it’s Global Warming. It’s normal during August in Lebanon for the temperature to reach that high (Even though I doubt it got to 43deg, cars tjs affichent des temperatures bcp plus eleves!)
Anyways I didn’t get that much hot this summer as I did the summer before, well except for the previous week.
    Cheers!
