Bank Audi’s interactive kiosk

I stumbled upon this cool kiosk by Bank Audi on Saturday night at City Mall. Aside from the ATM on the right, there are two large screens that, among many options, allow you to do a video call with one of the bank’s representatives and inquire them about their services. A room offering privacy is also available in the back, which I assume can be used to sign confidential papers and send them directly to the bank from within that kiosk.

The purpose of this project is apparently to let people get most of their banking needs done at a kiosk like this one instead of having to physically be present at one of the bank’s branches, which is pretty nice for people whose time is not flexible enough in the morning.

I just hope they’re putting similar efforts into enhancing their e-banking application as well!

Wow that’s one nice looking concept, i love how the banks in Lebanon compete in innovating their services, i would love to do all my transactions without waiting in the bank and avoiding the arrogant looks of the employees, thanks Rami for sharing 😀 i really love your blog

Well, as you mentioned Rami, by developing the e-services, their will be no need to such kiosks. As we all know in Lebanon, many nice concepts develop but then spread without any control. Imagine every bank with such a kiosk almost everywhere … They will spread them like mushrooms. we should be able to do everything by internet, as all banks do in Europe and the states.

    Thank you!

You do have a point of course, although these kiosks can make our life easier, but I personally also still prefer to get my things done over the internet.
