Seriously?!
Thanks @NMRoy
Here’s what a group of guys came up with when they forgot to bring their Arguileh with them on a picnic.
I can’t believe someone put time and effort to do this!
Thanks Simon!
I really can’t believe someone can be that bad in English… the menu items are just unreal!
Tabboush snack is a proof that sucking at translation is not exclusive to Egyptians and Syrians (with all due respect), apparently Lebanese too can do a terrible job sometimes. The place offers Urination, Bebse, Duonas, Zaluoaa, Flesh, Black chickens, and a lot more… check for yourself.
According to my friend who provided the photos, Tabboush made 25,000 copies of the menu… so there’s 25,000 copies of this thing possibly roaming the streets of Beirut and ready to massacre your brain at anytime!
Putting a red ribbon on a small cat or dog is understood, but drawing a red heart on a gold fish is a bit too much… no? But hey, it’s Valentine! Everyone wants to make more money on this day including pet shops!
Cruel? Cute? What do you think?

Shocking video coming in from news outlets today shows angry demonstrators in Tripoli attacking the press.
The first video shows rioters pushing against a news truck and attempting to tear down the satellite on top.
The video below it shows a vehicle (allegedly belonging to Al-Jazeera news) being set on fire.
Demonstrators also torched the mopeds of other media outlets, according to AFP.
Seems like Beyonce’s new Heat perfume ads were too provocative for some people! I was on my way to work this morning when I noticed they were vandalized overnight at Dora highway. (Same as what happened to Marie France’s ads back in May)
The act is pretty weird though… there are much more other explicit ads all over the country, why did they decide to just target this one?
Anyway, it’s good no one thought of playing the video commercial of the perfume at one of the newly installed outdoor giant screens!
I saw this banner signed by “the people of Achrafiyyeh” at Sassine square last week right after the municipality elections was over, and it only lasted for a few days there before it was removed.
Translation: The proud Achrafieh is loyal to Antoune Sehnaoui
How can people be loyal to a gangster? Is he Don Corleone or something? I bet it was Sehnaoui’s bodyguards who put up that banner!
