We had a thunderstorm last night in Beirut, and my friend Antoine from Adidap.com took this wonderful photo of Beirut from his balcony in Ain Saade during the storm.

The photo is stunning in my opinion and can be easily nominated the photo of the day on the Lebanese blogsphere! Sietske already blogged about it, and now it’s here on +961
P.S: This photo is part of Antoine’s PAD project (Picture A Day), he’s taking a photo every day and publishing on his flickr account. you may check his complete collection by clicking here.
For the last 30 minutes or so, whenever I try to access the Lebanese forces website I receive the following error:

We got use to witnesing political websites getting hacked each time a political crisis arises, let’s see if they did it again to the LF website!
1. I found out that the car I was aiming to buy has been already sold! It was an Alfa Romeo 147 and it wasn’t an easy job to me to find a good one. Alfa’s are a bit rare to find here…
2. My laptop screen is dead! It goes black few seconds after I log on to Windows, and I have been trying to bring it back to life for the past two hours. Tech forums did not help me at all! Anyway luckily I have the work’s laptop as a substitute…
3. Might have to pay a lot to fix the screen!!
3. I support germany in the euro cup and they have just lost to Spain a few minutes ago!
I came across this news article in Annahar newspaper today.

The article is about a campaign launched by the municipality of Beirut to exterminate pests (roaches should be afraid now). It’s quite a normal news.
But notice the attached photo, showing some personnels along with the head of the municipality taking a photo beside the vehicle to be used in that campaign. Isn’t that similar to taking a photo beside a Baygon bottle? I just wonder…
