I’m pretty sure it’s not the real Costco, but it does exist, and it has the major American products you might be looking for.

The place is located in Jnah, and I went there last Sunday after a friend told me about it. They have a variety of products ranging between clothing, food and home goods. Part of these available products (especially food) can be found at other large supermarkets like Spinneys, at almost the same price if not lower, while other stuff cannot be found anywhere else and are a bit pricey.

Note that Costco is not the only store of its kind there in the area. There’s another place called “Amtrag” located just next to Costco, in addition to a store called “Brands for less” known for importing the German brand “Tchibo” located 100 meters down the road from TSC Jnah. I believe they’re all worth a visit!

I seriously wonder what does Mariam Nour smoke. During an appearance with Tony Khalifeh, she recently revealed that she used to communicate with aliens and even had one of them sleeping at her house! She also claimed she’s not the only one, Sayed Hassan Nasrallah can also communicate with these aliens!

Our aim in organizing this conference is simple: to harness the potential of the Arab metropolitan network to build a sustainable, integrated regional future. “Transnational Tides and the Future of the Arab City” seeks to identify best practices and innovative strategies which globalizing Arab cities, governments, and institutions need to consider in order to improve urban welfare and sustainability. It features experts and decision-makers from the fields of urban planning and development, energy and communications infrastructure, environmental sustainability, higher education, sociology, culture, public policy, and public health. The conference program thus uniquely pairs academics and intellectuals with urban development stakeholders and practitioners, with the aim of yielding intelligent, implementable results.

About the Yale Arab Alumni Association:

The Yale Arab Alumni Association is a special-interest group for Yale alumni and affiliates with an active interest in the Arab World. It was established with the vision of connecting and engaging its global membership to advance Yale-Arab relations and stimulate dialogue on issues of importance to the Arab Middle East. A six-person Executive Board, under the guidance of an eleven-member Advisory Board, administers the organization.
