Racing and wheelies at Ouzai

Now that the weather feels good for people to go outdoors, the Ouzai road is literally turning into a racing circuit on weekends with tens of bikes everywhere either racing or pulling wheelies. And although it’s a two-way road, some bikers just choose to do their stunts while driving in the opposite direction of traffic!

The video below I shot yesterday shows how does it feel like to drive there with a car on a Sunday.

We almost made it to Playboy!

Dominique Hourani claimed in a recent interview in Men El Ekhir on MTV that she once got an offer from Playboy to pose semi naked in a photoshoot and she rejected it. Not sure how true is her claim, but can you imagine the media buzz that a Lebanese model would generate if she ever made to the cover of Playboy?

I already set the video the start at the part when Dominique starts talking about the offer.

Confessions of Lebanese taxi driver

Here’s one epic taxi driver. In just less than 30 seconds he managed to tell two Norwegian actors about  his dream, almost crash into another car, and of course curse at the other driver!

The two actors are actually Jorgen and Matias, who over a period of 3 weeks shot a web series of 14 episodes while walking across Lebanon from north to south, and in each episode they chose to walk for a different cause, thus the name of series “Walk of Causes”. You may check the series website here, and their blog here.

Ethiopian maid beaten in the street

This video was published by LBC and shows barbarism at its best. For some unknown reason, a man was publicly beating an Ethiopian maid reportedly in front of the Ethiopian embassy before forcing her to get into his car and take her back home.

It was however possible to take note of his car plate number, and he was later identified as “Mahmoud Zhairani”. Now sure how accurate is this information, but if you know the guy and turns up to be the same one showing in the video, make sure to slap him, with a baseball bat, a thousand time.

Update:

LBC just tweeted that the man was identified as Ali Mahfouz.

I have no idea till when this is going to last, but I got invited to Pink Link’s first edition on January 8th and for some reason just forgot to attend! Shoot me!

Snoop Dogg being sued by a Lebanese concert promoter

Lebanese police are reported to have started an investigation after a footage of Snoop Dogg smoking weed at some club in Beirut was featured in the music video for “That’s Tha Homie”.

Kalaouz claims Snoop blazed up some weed in the middle of a concert after-party — which is illegal in Lebanon — and then featured footage of the puff session in a music video for his song, “That’s Tha Homie” (image featured above).

Kalaouz claims Lebanese authorities caught wind of the weed smoking — and launched a criminal investigation into his company … leaving his reputation “severely damaged.” Source

Cheyef 7alak strikes again

Once again, Cheyef 7alak exposes another character we all see every day.

Still, I believe a campaign like Cheyef 7alak is not enough to get such scumbags to change. The extremist in me thinks these people should be shot dead, that’s how much they irritate me.
