Very huge areas of the Chouf forests have been on fire since yesterday night… and it’s quite obvious it isn’t due to high temperature but because of unknown people who want to get woods for the winter. I don’t understand how irresponsible people can be sometimes, it’s frustrating.
For those who have not been to Chouf before, I’m posting a photo I’ve taken early in March in Baakline, it will show you what is it like there and what we might be losing, god forbids.
