Lebanon’s Pablo Escobar is Making Rounds on TV Stations

nouh zaiter

Noah Zaiter, the infamous drug lord living in Bekaa, has for some reason started to make rounds on Lebanese TV stations the same way you see some singers moving from one show to another over a short period of time. A  few days ago he was interviewed by one of Tele Liban’s comic shows, and he’s also set to appear on Aljadeed next week with the super dramatic Tammam Bleik.

The guy can seriously be compared to Colombia’s Pablo Escobar as he claims to be helping the poor people out of the drug money he earns. I’m not sure though about the messages he’s trying to deliver through his appearances now…!

What puzzles me the most however  is that TV stations can easily reach Noah Zaiter for interviews while the Lebanese authorities will probably never be able to arrest him.

Al Jadeed News Fail – Hitler cheered in his grave for Germany’s win!

This is quite weird and awkward! Zeinab Abdel Sater and Jad Ghosn from Al Jadeed TV concluded their report about the world cup final game by stating that Hitler cheered in his grave for Germany’s win! (At the 1m50s mark)

They definitely need to have their reports reviewed before airing next time!

On Jackie Chamoun and Chirine Njeim posing topless in Faraya

Al Jadeed posted today a video  of Jackie Chamoun (who’s currently competing at the Olympics in Sochi) and Chirine Njeim posing topless on Faraya ski slopes for six-time Mexican Olympic skier and photographer Hubertus von Hohenlohe.

The photos were meant to be published in Hubertus’ calendar “Ski Instructors”.

Needless to say, Al Jadeed are calling it a scandal and were wondering if the Lebanese Ski Federation was aware about these photos since it “harms our reputation”, as if our reputation worldwide really needed two gorgeous skiers posing to the camera to get ruined!

Regardless of whether our society is conservative or not, I believe Chirine Njeim and Jackie Chamoun are totally free to do what  they want, especially that a lot of international athletes have posed either topless or completely nude and it’s nothing strange to sports.

You can check the truth about these photos here, and below is what Jackie Chamoun had to say about them.

It was positive for me. I don’t regret it at all. When I started my job, for example, people when they search for me on the web sometimes they can see these pictures directly so you think maybe it’s not the best thing, not the best image you can give someone of you. But, I don’t really care, though. I really enjoyed it and I don’t regret it. I like these photos. I have no problem with it.

Al Jadeed could use a chill pill, no?

P.S: The video is NSFW

The sorry state of Lebanon

The below video sums up pretty much the current situation in Lebanon. Slowly but surely, gunmen all over the country seem to gain more control on the ground, while the army is appearing weak and helpless.

Back when I wrote that the army should be firmer when dealing with these militias, everyone and their mothers started attacking me and called me ignorant, and I admitted back then that calling for bombing Ersal was too extreme from me. So I really want to know what do these people suggest to stop such groups from hijacking entire towns and areas whenever they please!

New virus targeting Lebanese internet users

Apparently there’s some new virus targeting Lebanese porn surfers that displays a fake warning once you visit some x-rated website, claiming you have violated the law and requires that you pay a fine of 200,000 L.L to the ministry of interior via cashU or face 8 months to 1 year in prison.

So if you ever get that fake message, just keep calm and carry on browsing! (But consider maybe updating your antivirus once you’re done).

On a side note, the reporter needs to take a chill pill towards porn websites.

Lebanese football referee gets attacked by players!

WTF!!

As if Lebanon needed more scandals and ugly incidents, this outrageous uncivilized act against a referee in a football match came to add salt to the wound. The referee did not give Al Nahda Club a penalty in the added time of the second half against Al Salam Zgharta, and the players went crazy chasing him all across the pitch. The video here doesn’t show more of the attack but it gives you an enough idea about what happened.

Footage of the gunmen storming Tripoli’s Islamic Hospital

This country is seriously going beyond insane. A group of gunmen stormed into Tripoli’s Islamic Hospital last night and released a detainee called Mohamad Youssef, who was arrested for opening fire on minister Faisal Karami’s convoy a while ago, after beating up the police men who were guarding him.

Weirdly enough, the man was handed back to the security forces some hours later!
