Screenshots from Flashman (1967) in Lebanon

Cool find by Beirut/NTSC of the below images taken from “Flashman“, and originally posted by Kheireddine in Skyscraper City.

So this is is how it was in 1967, the first one shot in Jounieh, the second in Maameltein back when the train ran through it, and the third one in Rawche next to the famous rocks. I am not getting nostalgic or anything, but – alongside that famous scene from James Bond (where he was having sex in Baalbeck!) – this is a throwback for a long-gone era (an era where things were brewing underneath the flashiness).

So, anyone got that scene of James Bond in Baalbeck? 😛

What I disliked:

Their blog, the posts are not related at all to each other. One post for example is about artificial rain! It should be used to communicate more with the readers. Maybe update them on the upcoming products.
The overall design of the website. I am no design expert, but I think there’s room for improvement in the website layout.

Beirut – The best party city

Check out this report by Cal Perry from CNN about the summer season this year in Beirut. So far this is the best summer after more than 4 years of continuous political instability that has started with PM Rafic Hariri assassination and ended with the 2009 elections 2 months ago, and Beirut is literally on fire with the countless events this summer, not to forget the booming nightlife everywhere in the country.

I loved how Cal Perry ended the report “This summer, the world is partying on the shores of the mediteranean”.
