Talk about transparency
So Alfa Telecom ran a competition for two tickets to attend ArabNet Beirut, and guess who were the winners? Two of their employees!
Thank you @chemali
Update:
After receiving so much tweets about the issue, Alfa ended up disqualifying one of the winners, Chafi Maalouf, since he’s an Alfa employee. On the other hand, the other guy didn’t turn out to be one of their employees.
Sorry @chadymaalouf ! Nice try, but as an Alfa employee you are not qualified to win. One more ticket to go. Stay tuned!

Guy strips naked at NDU
I just stumbled upon these two photos of some guy stripping naked at NDU campus.
Anyone knows what was he up to and what happened to him?
Photos via @lnlne
Update:
Here’s a video of him running around the campus. According to Leon, he lost a bet.
Update 2: Here’s another video showing the whole thing.
Thank you @GeorgeZahm

The Voice France is currently in the battle rounds, and just yesterday, Anthony Touma won his battle against a guy called Jo Soul after singing Bruno Mars’ Locked out of Heaven. Good luck to him for the next rounds!

Al-Joumhouria reporting 11 year old news

We will probably earn yet another Guinness world record with Al-Joumhouria reporting about an 11 year old news!
Check this article published on Al-Joumhouria website yesterday about a girl that was raped by 4 men in Pakistan, and then check the original story on CNN dated July 6th 2002. This is a first I think eh?

Riding Beirut
It takes some balls to take your bicycle on a ride from the mountain road to Beirut! This guy seems really good at it passing by Arayya, Jamhour, Hazmiyyeh, Dahyeh, and then all the way to Hamra, Clemenceau, and Beirut Downtown.

New drift park in Saida
The below video was shot at a new drift park in Saida started by a couple of guys welcoming racers who want to bring it to the track (for a certain fee I suppose) instead of the street.
We definitely need more of these parks around the country to hopefully reduce reckless driving on the streets, but I wish the organizers take safety more seriously since the video shows a very thin barrier between the crowds and the cars.
