In support of the Lebanese army

I’ve been noticing some traffic signs and parking meter machines around Achrafieh with stickers on them calling to take a stand with the Lebanese army.

I’m all for supporting the Lebanese army, but isn’t that also considered as an act of vandalism?

No fire arms sign in Dekweneh

Looks like someone who’s disgusted of the armed clashes around the country (just like the majority of us) is putting up “No fire arms” signs around Dekweneh, but it seems like the municipal police there is unsurprisingly taking them down.

I believe there should be more of these signs nowadays in Tripoli and Al-Mikdad street in Dahyeh!

Sursock

“كان شارع ذو طابع تراثي / Etait une rue à caractère traditionnel” Spotted in Sursock near St. Nicolas stairs.

With all the new buildings popping in the area, whoever altered the sign definitely nailed it!

Nahr El Mot bridge mocked

The bridge might be illogical, but it’s about time people learn which lane to drive in depending on their destination.

The traffic jam is all caused by people heading to Sin El Fil and insist to drive on the left side of the road until the last few meters before reaching the bridge located on the right side. That of course forces them to suddenly slow down and make a right turn to take the bridge, causing everyone behind them to slow down as well.

Keep left if you’re going to Beirut, and right when going to Sin El Fil! Easy!

Update:

Here’s the Facebook page of the people behind that sign.

Woosh it at City Mall

Have you noticed these new signs at the City Mall parking area?

It seems like you’ll soon be able to have your car washed at any parking spot in City Mall since the service buttons are available everywhere.

I just hope their pricing will not be ridiculous, I usually get my car washed for 5,000L.L at almost any gas station and I honestly am not ready to pay more no matter how eco-friendly their washing process is.

Woosh by the way claims to be the first eco-friendly car care provider in Lebanon, and they clean cars through the use of special waterless products.

Update:

According to Joe who tried the service at City Mall, a car wash will cost you 12,000 L.L.
