I saw Ziad Baroud!

December 15th, 2008 Leave a comment Go to comments

I was driving near Concord (Verdun) around midnight on the second day of Eid when I was surprised to see the minister Ziad Baroud helping the internal security forces at one of their checkpoints! I quickly grabbed the camera and took this photo.

It’s good to know there are still some humble people out there…

Ali Khalifeh, you are crossing the allowed level of stupidity here… The ministry of internal affairs is located in Hamra, not in my blog.

I saw Ziad Baroud at Bourj el Ghazal. He got out of his car before his bodyguards because he saw a man with a child in his arms on a motorccyle. He stopped to advise the man to take safety measures for him and his son while driving. I thought this was an indication of his concern for the masses, and I admire his modesty and commitment to the wellbeing of our societ.
