Pink Link Sunday brunch at Phonecia hotel

This video is from the Pink Link brunch happening at Eau de Vie Phoenicia on the first and last Sunday of each month with the aim of raising donations to support breast cancer.

The brunch opens between 1PM and 5PM with live entertainment and sexy nurses taking good care of you, and it costs $55 for open buffet and bar, and$ 85 for open buffet including Rose champagne.

I have no idea till when this is going to last, but I got invited to Pink Link’s first edition on January 8th and for some reason just forgot to attend! Shoot me!

Tania Saleh new album launch

Make sure not to miss this one!

Tania Saleh, Lebanese singer – songwriter and Batoota Foundation would like to invite you to the launch of Tania Saleh’s eagerly awaited second studio album “Wehde” along with the music video launch of the album title, at a press conference and CD signing event in Café Im Nazih, Saifi Urban Gardens on Thursday April 21st 2011 from 5 pm to 9 pm.

I’ve been eagerly waiting for Tania’s new album “Wehde” to be released ever since I started hearing news about it one year ago, and just yesterday I got an e-mail about the launching event. Her first album “Tani Saleh” was released in 2002 and remains one of the very few albums that I still play to this day.

And here’s a sneak peek at the upcoming video.

K-Lynn’s winter fashion show 2011

Don’t you just love March for the lingerie shows it brings every year?

Yesterday was K-Lynn’s turn to show the best of their designs at Rikky’s in Faqra. A friend of mine got these photos from Facebook and was good enough to share them with me. Thanks S! (Images courtesy of photographer Gilbert Kahawaty)

Smirnoff Nightlife Exchange Project – Lebanon party was a blast!

It finally happened! The exchange party took place at “The Warehouse” Zalka, formerly known as “Galerie Vivre”, and it was nothing less than a blast!

I reached there at around 10PM, two Thai girls greeted us at the entrance before we made our way inside where almost everyone was fascinated by the the red lanterns that created a nice ambiance.

An hour later the place was all packed while people were still pouring in! The warm music ended at around 11:30PM I think, and a traditional Thai dance was performed by two girls, which marked that the party has officially began!

… and DJ Madjam quickly got the people in the mood.

By 12:30AM, everyone was wearing these Thai flower necklaces.

Definitely looking for the next party if there will be a second nightlife exchange! And now I leave with this video that I recorded while Madjam was performing. (I actually recorded several videos but my phone was behaving weirdly and for some reason I ended up with this one only!! Quite frustrating!)

Ivan M. from Cafe Del Mar at Amethyste Lounge

Amethyste Phoenicia 1

Last week I got to enjoy Ivan M., one of the world famous saxophone players from Cafe Del Mar, playing live in Amethyste Lounge Phoenicia.

Below is a small video I recorded during his performance. The light is very low so you wont be able to see how the ambiance really was… but you will still enjoy his tunes.

Good food, great music, what more can one ask for?!
