Old man and his Oud at Hamra

I had to go to the American University Hospital several times during the past weeks, and I was spotting this old man on almost every visit playing on his Oud and singing nice old Arabic songs.

Although he claims he doesn’t have a job, but I guess he’s got the perfect one! 1. He’s self employed, 2. He seems happy with what he does! Don’t you agree?

… and yes I just forgot to ask him about his name, anyone knows it?

Me too, I don’t remember when was the first time I’ve seen him there. He is part of the background of AUH in addition to the newspaper guy and “les dames de la cafeteria”…

An owner of a lebanese restaurant (something like Ksar) would be stupid not to hire this man to sing.
I guarantee that he’ll a valuable add on to any restaurant… Any owners reading this blog?
