Lord of the Wings coming to Hamra

I don’t know for how long this announcement has been there, but I didn’t see it until yesterday. Lord of the Wings will soon open in Ibrahim Abd El Aal street, near “3a Zaw2ak” cafe.

I think Hamra is very close to becoming the ultimate destination in Beirut for food lovers since it almost has all kinds of restaurants now. What is still missing there?

Well, I can tell you to tone down the excitement cause that has been there for A WHILE now… Like you I was excited to know that I can finally binge eat after getting trashed at Speakeasy next door or the alley of pubs a block away, howevs, they insist on not opening!!

For a timeline, I think I first saw this in the early summer!

I have to agree with you. There are so many options in Hamra,,it makes going out to eat almost too easy! I spend way too much money on eating out, but it’s just so much more tempting than cooking for myself. That signs has been there for a long while now, but I will say..it likely won’t be my favorite destination in Hamra. I must prefer Olio, Molino, Cafe Hamra, and Ferdinands..to name only a few!

My favorites in Hamra are Le Rouge, Roadster, and Flying Pizza (which I should write about!). But I’m weak towards chicken wings! so I guess my favorites list will expand as soon as LOTW opens 😀
