I was on my way to Beirut on Sunday when I saw these guys literally having a party on the highway all the way from Halat to Jounieh!

… since he can drive with his feet!

They kept exchanging CD’s with the Picanto on the left.

Surprisingly (or not), there were several policemen on the road and none of them bothered to stop that car!

That’s definitely taking “wazwaza” to a whole new level!

    Hahahaha. Oh my, that’s awful. And then if they get into a car accident, it will be a tragedy for the person who hit them. As if they weren’t doing anything particularly weird and this jerk comes and hits them.

    Driving in Lebanon never ceases to amaze me, in a bad way.

    This is not wazwaza, this is “bala-mokhness”.

    It’s disgusting!!!
    lebanon has one the highest rates of death by accidents in the world per population.
    and if they were to be in an accident, lebanese would say crap like “heik Allah baddou”…!!!!

    I’m glad u didn’t blur the number plates on the bmw, but too bad, there’s no “Anonymous tipping” in lebanon police website!!

    In all the ways there is No Fuse To Use… w Proudly Lebanese we know how to drive with our Foot 🙂 i think that’s why we are special and it is not easy to be a Lebanese.

    Wow this is so extreme! and stupid! maybe you shoud share these pictures with Kunhadi or Yasa foundations! they will surely intensify their campaigns….

    last week i saw girls out of the car’s window and they were taking pictures for each other from the top of the car’s cceiling! how pathetic…..but at least they kept it safe 🙂 because the driver was not driving with his feet ….cant argue that heheheh

    What if I told u guys i just ran the plate’s number… This car is owned by a woman, so my guess is she should be immediately contacted before she wakes up one day with her kid’s brain on the Dbaye Highway!
    I’m still thinking about posting the info, but I guess it’s a bit extreme… But someone should seriously take matters in his own hands since our lovely police force is careless!

    It’s not their fault it’s the “system’s”, they get nothing for being total jackasses but someone driving past these guys at 90kph instead of 80kph would be fined for “speeding”…. The funny thing is that in Lebanon the solution for everything is an unbelievably high number of speed bumps and RIDICULOUS speed limitations. Even associations should start to understand that it is not how fast you go as a number, it’s more how you drive as a whole, speed being only but one factor. Most people here get out of parking lots without looking both ways, never use their indicators, take off the side of the road without looking in their mirrors, don’t turn on their dipped lights when it’s raining, use blinding rear foglights in the summer, don’t change their tires, drive with their high beams at night, text their phones or fix their makeup/hair behind the wheel, cut other drivers’ paths, overtake on the wrong side, drive too slowly on the fast lane or too agressively on narrow back streets, accelerate while going downhill and brake while going uphill (it should be the other way around), drive on two lanes simultaneously etc…. and now we’ve got these assholes being the champions of it all! I am not going to talk about the state of the road itself… anyway IT’S ALL WRONG AND NEEDS REDOING FROM SCRATCH… Speed itself is not the main cause of accidents in Lebanon, ignorant irresponsible inconsiderate stupid morons are… and there’s waaaaaaaay too many of them in our lovely country.
